Bethany Lund, Chair
Bethany moved to Tahoe in 1995 after graduating from UC Santa Cruz with a BA in Liberal Arts. She and her artistic husband, Matt, started a photography and graphic design business in 1999. All of these years later, Bethany still works in the photography & design business but wears many other artistic hats: creative designer for Matt's custom metal fabrication business, art teacher, and professional artist for her business Modern Punk (an Etsy based business). Art has been her passion since she was a child and continues to play a very important role in hers and her family's lives. |

Advisors
Phyllis McConn
Phyllis was an Arts For The Schools' Board Chair for the past decade, beginning with a one year interim board, whose recommendations were implemented when the founder retired in 2006. Phyllis is currently an advisor to the Board. She moved to Truckee in 2001, leaving behind a 20 year career as a CPA and tax manager. Surprisingly to her, she loves life in a small town and is a copious volunteer, insatiable reader, tenderfoot hiker, neglectful gardener and enthusiastic fan at her son’s many sporting events.
