| | Last performances of the school year were with Mad River Theater Works from Ohio! More than 900 students at schools learned about Eugene Ballard's life an amazing African-American boxer, jazz musician and World War I flying Ace. Mad River taught students about racism and challenged the myths of racism and encouraged intolerance thorough their story-telling. Teachers also received a study guide in advance of the show with lesson plans to extend the learning for students! |
