Local Artist, Cathee van Rossem St. Clair, creates the annual
holiday cards for sale at public outlets throughout the year.
Cathee van Rossem St. Clair is a Tahoe area artist who specializes
in detailed miniature paintings. Her art reflects a personal quest
for a deeper understanding of our earth and her diverse inhabitants.
Cathee shares her talents with hundreds of schoolchildren each
year, using egg painting as a tool for learning the importance
of caring in our fragile world.

Guidebook for Teachers
The guidebook is self-published by Arts For the Schools and was
written by artists, Nancy Lopez and M.C. Roddis. Funded by the
California Arts Council under a comprehensive Arts in Education
Demonstration grant. The guidebook can be used as a stand-alone
tool for teachers and/or give an in-depth understanding of how
the Visual and Performing Arts Standards are linked to state standards
through visual arts instruction with Arts For the Schools artists.
Sold for $20 at the Arts For the Schools administrative office
in Truckee.
