Arts For The Schools
Performing Arts Program
Teaching Artist Work Samples
For the last 35 years, Arts For The Schools has provided cultural performances with critically acclaimed performing artists for students and schools. Students in grades K-12 participate in interactive performances, workshops and discussions with artists in music, dance, theater, media arts and performance art. The goal of the program is to expose rural students to cultural arts, and create opportunities for mutual understanding, tolerance and questioning. Students in our region don't have access to cultural arts and it is important they have the opportunities to learn about all people of the world and shared experiences.
